Recipe healthy Caesar salad

The Caesar salad was originally conceived by Caesar Cardini (1896-1956), an Italian chef. [1] Let’s take a moment to consider the brilliant invention of this delicious recipe! In the meantime the recipe is being corrupted by everyone and so by me. The original is very simple and contains only 8 ingredients. I left out the croutons because of the carbohydrates and replaced them with an extra egg, sun-dried tomatoes, pine nuts and a red onion.

A delicious salad that fills well and has a divine taste. But this salad is also packed with healthy ingredients. The lettuce helps to remove waste from the body, the eggs provide our body with proteins and the garlic lowers blood pressure and bad cholesterol.

The only ‘non-natural’ that I have put through it is the Caesar dressing from CalvĂ©. This contains only 2 grams of carbohydrates per 100 ml, so it fits perfectly in a low-carb or Paleo diet. (no advertising, you can use any Caesar dressing with less than 5 g of sugar per 100 ml).


  • Iceberg lettuce
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 Red onion
  • Pine nuts
  • Sun dried tomatoes
  • Parmesan cheese (chips)
  • Olive oil
  • Lemon juice (from fresh lemon)
  • 3 tablespoons Calve Caesar dressing
  • Garlic
  • Black pepper (coarsely ground)


Just throw everything together. Boil the eggs for about 6 minutes so that you can cut them into 4 pieces more easily.
